Microsoft recommends using Microsoft Edge as your default browser and only supports Internet Explorer 11 for backward compatibility.
Beginning January 12, 2016, Microsoft will only release security updates for the latest version of Internet Explorer for each Windows operating system.
Internet Explorer 11 will not receive any other updates to keep current with modern web development practices.
